Gimpscape Artweek is an Indonesian Gimpscape community agenda in the form of sharing sessions in the form of workshops or lightning talk. This year, Gimpscape Artweek is held online and is open to all members of the Indonesian Gimpscape community. This activity was initiated by Gimpscape Indonesia community and will be held for two consecutive days on weekends.
Gimpscape has the slogan, "Learn, Share and Inspire". These three things are the main spirit of the Gimpscape community. Therefore, all activities organized by Gimpscape will definitely refer to at least one of these three things. However, without any concrete activities, the slogan will only become slogan that has no meaning at all. Therefore, as much as possible we (Gimpscape Community organizers) will continue to innovate to make useful activities, especially for Gimpscape members, and generally for everyone outside the community. Artweek Gimpscape is one example.
In this activity, of course the process of learning, sharing and inspiring will occur, and that is indeed what is expected. In addition, in this activity, we also provide opportunities for participants to join in the donation. Once collected later, you will continue to donate to open source projects within the scope of design applications such as Inkscape, Gimp, Krita, Synfig, Blender, and so forth. This is intended to encourage participants, especially Gimpscape members, to be actively involved in developing free software. In addition, this is also a form of our gratitude for users of open source applications to developers who have worked hard to deliver powerful design applications. We will periodically report the incoming donations regularly and can be viewed on the page.
Gimpscape Artweek's activities are funded with cash / savings from the Gimpscape community and a joint venture of the Gimpscape community organizers. Other sources of funds for this activity also come from sponsors whose logos
and names are listed on the sponsors section on each page and donors. Gimpscape Artweek is not funded using donations from participants, because as mentioned earlier, the funds will be fully donated to open source projects.

Artweek Gimpscape will be held on 27-28 June 2020 starting at 09.00 WIB s.d. with 4:30 pm (GMT+7) online at kelas.gimpscape.org. Participants in this activity are those who have registered and made donations with a minimum amount that has been determined.
The organizing committee involved in this activity were volunteers from the Gimpscape community. Artweek Gimpscape activities are held as a form of responsibility of the board to provide more intensive training space for community members. It is hoped that what has become Gimpscape's jargon so far, "Learning, Sharing and Inspiring" can be even more perfect because it can truly be realized and concrete in the form of useful activities.
